Upcoming: Entity Header Redesign

An upcoming platform update will introduce a redesigned entity header across all entity pages in Uncountable. These changes streamline the entity page UI and improve header usability on both desktop and mobile screens.

What’s changing?

Single-line header layout

Previously, entity headers displayed two lines— the entity definition on top and the entity name below.

In the new header, all header text and controls will appear on a single line, with the entity name on the left followed by the definition name.

Inline rename and entity details

Clicking the entity name in the header will now open a popover modal where you can rename the entity and view basic information.

Icons and colors for entity types

Each entity will also now display an icon on the far left of the header. Every entity type has a default icon and color to help users quickly identify entity types as they navigate the platform.

Icons and colors will be customizable on the definition level in Form Admin, applying to all entities of that definition. You can also override the icon and color for individual entities directly from the header. Learn more.

Rollout

This update is scheduled to roll out this Friday, January 9, 2026.

To preview this change or opt in early, admins can navigate to the Platform Config tab in Company-Wide Settings and toggle on the [Generic] Enable New Entity Headers feature flag.
